Residential Heat Treatment Notice and Instruction Sheet

Important: Read Carefully. Your Signature is required. A copy of the notice must be signed and on the property when our Heat Treatment crew arrives.

THE NIGHT BEFORE SERVICE ALL RESIDENTS MUST DRY A SET OF CLOTHES ON HIGH HEAT (INCLUDING JACKETS, SHOES, AND HATS;ANYTHING THAT WILL BE WORN THE DAY OF TREATMENT) AND SEAL IN A NEW PLASTIC BAG. THIS IS YOUR OUTFIT FOR TREATMENT DAY AND MUST BE FREE OF BED BUGS OR EGGS. CHANGE INTO THESE CLOTHES RIGHT BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR HOME THE MORNING OF TREATMENT. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING ELSE WITH YOU BECAUSE BED BUGS OR EGGS CAN BE HIDING IN YOUR BELONGINGS AND YOU COULD REINTRODUCE THEM TO YOUR DWELLING

Important please read carefully

During the time required to heat your structure , the potential damage to furnishings and fixtures is practically non-existent. The following precautions are suggested to protect items of a more delicate nature. HEAT TREATMENT CHECKLIST Articles that are impractical to remove may be wrapped with an insulation material or placed in the refrigerator

Please remove from the treatment area the following items: People, plants, and pets Medicines and vitamins Fresh fruits and veggies, chocolates, wines, liquors, artificial sweeteners Wax based or paraffin based items (i.e makeup, lipstick, wax figurines, crayons, etc) in lieu of removal, small items may be placed in a refrigerator Antique furniture with finish or fragile glue points Vinyl miniblinds and any other vinyl items (Please do not neglect this preparation)

Prior to treatment, please complete the following: Unplug computers and televisions All clothing not in closets or drawers must be washed and dried on high heat temperature or at least dried on High heat Clothing Hanging in closet can remain in closet Clothing in drawers can remain if drawers can open easily All bed linens should be removed from mattress, washed, and dried on high heat Picture frames assembled with hot-melt glue should be removed from the wall Air Beds must be partially deflated to avoid damage. Select Comfort-style airbeds with an electric pump must be partially deflated and unplugged from the outlet Turn heating system on the morning service or the night prior to service and set the temp to 90 degrees Remove batteries from smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors CUT OFF / DISENGAGE AND DRAIN THE INDOOR SPRINKLER SYSTEM (Call your alarm or installation company if you do not know how. It’s usually simple)
